This Disclaimer (together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy) governs your use of CinaptixAI (“the Service”). Please read it carefully. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the limitations described below.
1. What CinaptixAI is
CinaptixAI is a general-purpose idea-capture and creative-refinement tool. It accepts text, voice, images, and files you submit, and uses AI models to enrich, summarise, connect, transcribe, and describe that content. It is intended for personal creative work, journaling, note-taking, brainstorming, and exploratory thinking.
2. What CinaptixAI is not
The Service is not a professional-advice service and must not be relied on as such. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, AI outputs generated by the Service do not constitute, and must not be used as a substitute for:
- Legal advice. Always consult a licensed lawyer in your jurisdiction for legal questions.
- Medical, health, or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified health professional for health-related questions. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
- Financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting.
- Engineering, safety, or regulatory advice. Always consult qualified engineers and applicable regulators for safety-critical decisions.
- Educational certification or academic credit. AI-generated study material is not a substitute for instruction from qualified educators.
- Journalistic reporting or fact-checking. AI outputs may present plausible-sounding but incorrect information.
3. Limitations of AI outputs
- AI outputs are probabilistic. They reflect patterns in training data and are not the result of reasoning, verification, or real-world knowledge.
- AI can hallucinate. The Service may produce statements, citations, names, numbers, quotations, or references that are partly or wholly fabricated, even when presented confidently.
- AI can be biased. Outputs may reflect cultural, linguistic, demographic, or viewpoint biases present in training data.
- AI can be outdated. Underlying models have a training cutoff and do not have real-time awareness of world events, prices, laws, medical guidance, or software versions.
- Transcriptions are imperfect. Voice-to-text output may contain recognition errors, misattributions, or omitted words.
- Image descriptions are interpretive. Vision-model outputs may misidentify objects, people, text, or context.
- File extraction is best-effort. Extracted text from PDFs, documents, and spreadsheets may be incomplete, mis-ordered, or contain OCR-style errors.
- Enrichments are suggestions. AI-refined titles, bodies, tags, and categories are starting points for your own editorial judgement, not finished work.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating every AI output before you rely on it, share it, or act on it. Do not copy AI outputs verbatim into contracts, medical records, financial filings, legal submissions, or any document whose accuracy matters without independent verification.
3a. AI outputs and third-party rights
- AI outputs may resemble existing works. Large language models and image models are trained on large corpora. A generated title, tag, passage, image description, or translation may coincidentally resemble pre-existing copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material. You are responsible for clearing rights before publishing, commercialising, or distributing any output.
- No guarantee of originality or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI outputs are original, that they do not infringe any third-party intellectual-property right, or that you will acquire ownership of any output sufficient to support a copyright, trademark, or patent claim.
- Your responsibility before publishing. Do not paste AI outputs into trademark filings, patent applications, journalistic articles, academic submissions, legal filings, medical records, marketing collateral, or any context where accuracy, originality, or provenance matters, without independent review.
- Reporting infringement. If you believe an AI output infringes your rights, please see our DMCA & Copyright Policy.
4. No consequential decisions
You agree not to use the Service, or outputs of the Service, to make consequential decisions about other individuals — including decisions about credit, employment, hiring, firing, insurance, housing, immigration, benefits, law enforcement, or legal matters — without independent human review by an appropriately qualified professional. The Service is not designed, validated, or warranted for use in any regulated automated decision-making system.
5. No safety-critical use
The Service is not designed or intended for use in environments where failure or inaccuracy could result in death, personal injury, environmental damage, or significant property damage, including without limitation: medical devices, life support, nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation, aviation, critical infrastructure, autonomous vehicles, or weapons systems. You must not use the Service in such environments.
6. Third-party content and links
The Service may process links, quotations, or references to third-party content, or may surface outputs that resemble third-party content. CinaptixAI does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for third-party content and does not grant you any rights in third-party material. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of any such content complies with applicable intellectual-property, privacy, and other laws.
7. Availability and accuracy
Although we strive to keep the Service available and accurate, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor that any particular AI output will be accurate, current, or suitable for your purpose. The Service may change, experience outages, or produce different outputs for the same input over time.
8. Your content remains your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you submit to the Service (ideas, files, voice recordings, images, and other material), including its legality, accuracy, and your right to submit it. Do not submit content that you are not permitted to share — for example, confidential information belonging to your employer, clients, or patients — unless you have the necessary rights to do so.
9. Translations and localisation
AI translations and localised outputs are provided for convenience. They are not certified translations and should not be used for official, legal, medical, or immigration purposes without human professional review.
10. No professional-client relationship
Your use of the Service does not create any lawyer-client, doctor-patient, advisor-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and CinaptixAI, its owners, or its personnel.
11. Export, sanctions, and prohibited uses
You must not use the Service in ways that violate applicable Canadian, US, UK, EU, or UN export-control or sanctions laws, nor to generate content that violates applicable law (including content that is defamatory, infringing, harassing, or constitutes child sexual abuse material).
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CinaptixAI is not liable for any damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your reliance on AI outputs or from your use of the Service. The limitations of liability set out in our Terms of Service apply fully to this Disclaimer.
13. Changes
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. Material changes will be notified in accordance with the “Changes to these Terms” section of our Terms of Service.
